The Hotel Santo Amaro is a family establishment.

Its owner, Maria D Odete Marto, is descended from the family of the little shepherds Jacinta and Francisco.

The origin of the Hotel dates back to the 60's, when Jose Antonio Santos Silva and D ª M ª Odette Santos Marto started the exploration of rental rooms in a residence of grandparents inherited the D ª Odette, is now located where the present Hotel.

Over the years the clientele has grown and the number of rooms has been increasing in quantity and quality.
