Pilgrim's Route

The appearances of the Angel to the three shepherd children in 1916, were a preparation for the apparitions of Our Lady, the following year. The first appearance came in the spring of 1916, in the Cabeço, the second appearance in the summer of that year, took place in the pit of Arneiro, near the home of Lucy, the third appearance in the autumn, was again in the Cabeço.

In this first year of the course to celebrate the centenary of the apparitions and message of the Angel that focuses our attention. There we discover the fundamental attitude of worship, which guides the way that the following is proposed. These appearances are the places we are invited to visit, not as tourists but as pilgrims.

This route can be done individually or in groups. As a group, a member may make mention of the event, reading aloud the text, then all together make the proposed prayer. In the last place to visit, the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament in the sanctuary, reading the text should be done before going to preserve the silence of the place, and prayer should be just personal.
