First Saturday
Pilgrims can take advantage of the official program for the devotion, requested by Our Lady.
All those who for five consecutive months on the first Saturday, to confess, receive Holy Communion, recite a Rosary, and I do 15 minutes of company, meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, in order to vindicate me, I promise to assist him in death, with all the graces necessary for salvation of their souls.
This is the text of the Fatima message that expresses the call of the Five First Saturdays devotion, announced in the secret July 1917 and implemented in the Apparition of Our Lady to Sister Lucia in Pontevedra, 10 December 1925.
