At the time of the Apparitions, Fatima was a parish of more than twenty small places, including Aljustrel, Old House, Moita Redonda, Loin d'Mare, etc..
In 1917, in Cova da Iria, there were no buildings and no one lived. There were only a few trees, lots of stone and a small arable land that belonged to the parents of Lucy.
